COVID-19 Shop Protocols

Although all provincial public health orders have been lifted, we would like remind patrons that if you are ill/sick or you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, DO NOT COME TO SHOP. The below protocols will be in place:

COVID-19 Donation Drop-off Protocols

Masks are required for all indoor donation drop-offs. Donations must be placed in our donation bins by the person dropping them off, if possible. Objects will be cleaned and disinfected before being placed on the shelves.

COVID-19 In-Person Shopping Protocols

We are recommending not to pay with cash and ask that you plan to use debit/credit card to pay for purchases (we have a Square Terminal that can accept all debit/credit cards), however, we will still be accepting cash. The machine will be disinfected between customers.

Masks are mandatory and must be worn properly AT ALL TIMES in the shop to help keep our volunteers and other shoppers safe, as well, due to other limitations we face including the inability to purchase a plexiglass barrier at our register and not having any data/studies about air exchange in our space. A limited amount of reusable masks (donation optional, but a suggested $5 donation is encouraged) and free disposable masks will be available in the shop, however, we recommend you bring your own. Learn more about Non-medical masks and face coverings and watch this video on How to wear a non-medical mask or face covering properly.

Shoppers are strongly encouraged to use hand sanitizer at entry before touching items on the shelves. In the case that hand sanitizer cannot be used (ex: skins conditions like eczema or others would cause pain), latex gloves can be provided.

Thanks for your help and assistance in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
